My feeling is that they've just grown to the point that they can no longer stay atop everything that's going on. So I can't blame them for growing, I just wish they would scale the customer service as quickly as they are scaling up the hardware. Things seem to have stabilized, so I'm hoping the issues they were seeing have improved. I'll just have to wait and see. That’s a very good point, and a perspective I hadn’t thought about before. On a related note, I’ve been hosting with McGooHQ/AussieHQ for quite some time now and haven’t had any issues. I am always notified of any downtime in advance too, which is nice.
